Elections in the U.S. are more of a charade, a farce, than an exercise in civic responsibility. Half of the population is disenfranchised; minorities are barely represented; the white middle-class has a field day; it's a single system with two heads that battle for the oval office, whose members' foremost interest is to enrich themselves on the back of the little people. The outcome is duly certified to perpetuate the status-quo. The result is a shameful sham.
--Gilles d'Aymery
