(Swans - October 22, 2012)

the only possible thing is looking
for what is abandoned,
treaded, refused, rejected and forgotten;
even linguistically we've to search
for far away and forgotten words
même des paroles etrangères
de peuples et de temps qui aujourd'hui
ne comptent plus rien.
i can talk about facts of my life
of usual views of landscapes and dogs' eyes
or i can even talk about
lacrimae rerum world tears of things
when i read of them
in magazines' discounts or in the web
those cases of cracked tenderness either
from mad homeless ill old sick men
oder einfach von eimem vergessenen mensch

deep dogs' eyes...
