(Swans - June 18, 2012)

"i look for sea roads
and for distance's lands
tierras de lejos,
the sea
is blue word of tear,
and the only way
is along darkness,
aux limites du monde
to the ends of earth.

i've arrived
in a dark land
of moon pebbles, land
with no sun for men
ningun sol para los hombres,
but it will be the way
to understand my return,
to understand hòti
egò eimì, what i am.

just arrived i feel something
dying inside me,
then i drink wine and milk
with an absent people, spilling
flour i run hot black blood
in a pit, and see shadows
of my past.
i see too
shadows of my mother
and father, down to dinner,
mis padres que fuman tranquilos,

then theban tiresias
telling my future journeys
along lands that don't know
the sea, and la légende de la pelle
en bois (celle du boulanger)
legend of the winnow.

and he shows me l'ailleurs,
hades' rivers full of
murdered men, and beside
imprisonment in konzentrationslager
and refugee camps of people
in eternal larmes et plaintes...
(mas allà serà igual a nuestro mundo?)
conclusion, i return to my ship:
beyond au-delà
there is no remedy
to the great enigma,
it's better to end it all
as soon as possible,
there's no remedy
to the mankind,
deuil faim soif pleurs
bis zum letzen,
hilanòn estìn,
it's enough.

and if humanity is this boat
fired by a dead sun,
i lose memory of being
and we all have
never really lived."
