![]() Eli Beckerman was born and raised in Queens, NY. He graduated from the Bronx High School of Science and Wesleyan University, with degrees in Physics and Astronomy. He is a former data specialist at the Harvard-Smithsonian Center for Astrophysics (since June, 1999). Beckerman is the Communications Coordinator of Mystic River Green-Rainbow Action, and a member of the Somerville Green-Rainbow Party in Somerville, MA. These groups focus on Green issues and are affiliated with the Green-Rainbow Party of Massachusetts. Beckerman has been contributing to Swans since October 2001.
